# Fix: An MCP server card is published

> Web-audit fix skill for the `mcp-server-card` check (MCP, SHOULD).

## Goal

Publish a SEP-2127 server card for your MCP server and list it in your AI catalog.

## Fix

Serve a SEP-2127 server card at `<endpoint>/server-card` (`/mcp/server-card` for an endpoint at
`/mcp`) as `application/mcp-server-card+json`. It carries `$schema`
(`https://static.modelcontextprotocol.io/schemas/v1/server-card.schema.json`), `name` in reverse-DNS
form (`com.example/server`), `version`, `description`, and `remotes`, one entry per endpoint with
`type` (`streamable-http`) and `url`. List it in `/.well-known/ai-catalog.json` as an entry of type
`application/mcp-server-card+json` with the card's `url`. A card at `/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json`
is the legacy SEP-1649 shape: it still passes, and SEP-2127 is the shape to publish.
